Daily Photo: Frontierland

One of the fun things about arriving early at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World is getting to walk through Frontierland without many people around. Normally, I don’t mind people in my pictures, but from time to time it is fun to get some shots without them.

For this shot as we were making our way to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, the streets were still damp from their nightly cleaning, and the rising sun was lighting everything up nicely, making the colors of Frontierland really pop!

About the Shot:

I really like the colors here, along with the clouds in the sky. Looks like a perfect scene. Three exposures (-2, 0, +2) tonemapped in Photomatix, and processed with some Nik filters in PaintShop Pro.
