Near the bus stop at the Polynesian Resort at Walt Disney World, a Disney bus passes a Monorail in the evening hours.
Lately, it seems like we spend lots of time waiting on the Disney buses. It is probably just our luck, but sometimes it seems like two buses will come for the same location before one comes for where we want to go.
And then last week when we were at Downtown Disney, there was a complete bus system breakdown. Several buses were stacked up at the bus stop so that no more buses could get into the area. There was a long line for the bus that we were waiting for, and there appeared to be long lines for all the other buses, too. Eventually, things got moving again, but it was pretty crowded for a while.
Personally, I would love to see an expansion of the Monorails. I know it would be expensive, but it seems like it would pay for itself rather quickly by removing lots of buses from the roads. But what do I know? Besides that Monorails are just cool.
