Daily Photo: Cinderella Castle at Dusk

On our recent visit to the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, we were making our way from Liberty Square to Fantasyland when I saw a great view of Cinderella Castle. The angle, the clouds, and the time of day, the lighting - everything seemed to just work out right. I may have found a new favorite spot for castle pictures. I think I will give it another try on our next visit.

I also like how the people on the left give a sense of the size of Cinderella Castle. Those are our friends, who were probably saying, “Is he stopping to take another picture?”

About the shot:
Just my usual shooting here, although I did rest my elbows on the railing for support because of the slightly long exposures. Three brackets (-2, 0, +2) merged and tonemapped in Photomatix, with final editing in PaintShop Pro.
