Daily Photo: Caballeros, Fog, and Sunrise

On our last morning at the All-Star Music Resort, we walked back up to Melody Hall to take care of a few things before getting in the cars and starting for home. On our way there, the sun had just come up, and there was still some fog lingering over the Calypso Pool around the Three Caballeros.

Needless to say, I was glad that I had brought my camera along for the walk, because I had thought about just leaving it in the car.

About the Photo

This was actually my second take on this shot. For the first one, I had the aperture set to f/11, which is my normal shooting setting. But then I remembered to change to a different setting to get a better sunburst, so I went with f/25. Three exposures (-2, 0, +2) merged and tonemapped in Photomatix, final editing in PaintShop Pro.
