Conversation in the Ocean

Conversation in the Ocean at Cocoa Beach, Florida

Three friends enjoy a conversation while cooling their feet in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach, Florida.

I would think just about every conversation would be better if it were held in this way. And just think of how much better business meetings could go if everyone could have their feet in the warm water and sand during the meetings. That would put a stop to most any argument, don’t you think?

“I strongly disagree with your position on this upcoming merger. But you know what? I don’t really care, because my feet are in the sand and I’m happy. So let’s go ahead with this useless merger and wreck our company. As long as we get enough out of the deal to just stay here on the beach.”

Okay, so it probably wouldn’t really go like that. But my theory is that people get unnecessarily excited and worked up over things that don’t really matter if they stop and think about it. I’m willing to give this plan a try. Let’s call it a science experiment. Who’s with me?
