Cocoa Beach Walkway / Relevance

Cocoa Beach Walkway

I really liked these walkways from the parking lot over the sand dunes to the beach at Lori Wilson Park at Cocoa Beach, Florida. I think this one was probably my favorite because of the thick growth that the walkway goes through. That growth also hides the beach from view in the parking lot, and it is almost like walking through a tunnel to get to the beach, building excitement as you go along.

Of course, looking at this again just makes me want to go back.

The Burnsland List of Relevance for 4/24-4/30

Here is the Burnsland List of Relevance for this week. Back to Friday after being on Thursday last week. Are you confused yet?

  1. Sunshine - On my shoulders, it makes me happy. And after all the rain and storms we had earlier in the week, it makes me even more happy.
  2. Rain - What? There’s more rain coming next week? Rats.
  3. Rats - Why do people say “Rats” when there’s something bad? I’m not a big fan of rats, either. But they may not like us taking their name in vain.
  4. The Royal Wedding - Who cares?
  5. Our Wedding - It didn’t get anywhere near the press that the Royal Wedding is getting, and it was much more important. At least to me.
  6. Space Shuttle - How dare they plan the royal wedding on the same day as the next-to-last Space Shuttle launch! What were they thinking?
  7. Work - Some people always complain about it. But if it were easy, it wouldn’t be called work.
  8. Arbor Day - I noticed on the calendar that today is Arbor Day. I wonder how many trees it would save if we eliminated from the dictionary all the words that people don’t use any more, such as “arbor.”
