For today the weather folks are predicting possible ice and snow around here. So instead of that lovely thought, here is a nice, warm view from Cocoa Beach, Florida.

Look at the sand, the blue sky, those light clouds. Doesn’t that just make you want to be there right now? I wish I were there!

Observations of the Past Week (1/9-1/15)

Here are the observations of the past week from Twitter and/or Facebook. More predictable than the weather. Because they are predictably bad.

The snow is here. Schools closed tomorrow. Fun times! (Fun because it came while we were still at home, too! Driving in snow isn’t exactly fun.)

Today’s snow day was made even better by Laura’s homemade pizza! (My stomach growls just thinking about it.)

The snow was fun, but I hope that’s it for a while now. Yeah, I’m no fun at all. (I’m just an old stick in the mud. Or in the snow.)

Here’s this morning’s weather report: It’s freezing cold outside! Don’t stick your tongue to anything! (I double-dog dare you!)

I think Einstein came up with his theory of relativity on a Thursday afternoon. (That has to do with the whole “time slowing down” thing, in case you didn’t get it.)

I’m thinking this whole “Friday” thing just might catch on. I think we should have one every week. (Whoever invented it should get a raise!)

Yesterday, FB changed my profile layout. Today I find out that my Zodiac sign has changed. What’s tomorrow - global warming isn’t real? (I don’t think I can handle any more of this change.)

I think this is going to be a good weekend to do something completely unremarkable. But what? That’s the question. (Being unremarkable is harder than it sounds, it seems.)

Unremarkable weekend going well so far. Except that I did find 6 cents. (And not all at one time, either.)
