Clouds at Sea on the Disney Dream
Clouds fill the sky behind the Disney Dream, one of the ships of the Disney Cruise Line.
So on our recent Disney cruise, we had some clouds. Actually, we had lots of clouds and not all that much sun. We really didn’t have any rain, except for a few sprinkles at Castaway Cay, and then a rain shower on our last night. But when it was over, we stepped off the ship and into Tropical Storm Andrea, which was dropping quite a bit of rain on the Central Florida area. So I guess we really didn’t have that much to complain about on our cruise. Because we could have been cruising through a storm the whole time. And that wouldn’t be very much fun at all.
Besides, all of those clouds did have an upside: we didn’t get baked and reddened by the sun. Of course, we still did use sunscreen every day, just to be safe. But we didn’t burn at all. Some people might be disappointed at not having a good cruise burn to show off when they get home, but I am not one of those people. And we didn’t ever get all that hot, either. We did get warm while we were walking around Nassau, but even that wasn’t all that bad.
I know they can’t control the weather for a cruise. And overall, I might have preferred clear blue skies and lots of sun. But overall, the weather that we had was just fine.
