Cinderella Castle / Observations of the Past Week

Cinderella Castle

As a break from the cold weather pictures this week, here is a view of Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World, from the nice, warm Sunshine State. Warm may be a relative term, but at least it is warmer there right now than it is here.

This picture is from last June, when it was definitely warm, to say the least! Of course, you can probably tell that from all the people wearing shorts as the wander around in the Central Plaza.

Observations of the Past Week

Here are the Observations of the past week from Twitter and Facebook. These are the highlights. Just imagine what the lowlights must be like.

Accomplishments of the day so far: Got gas (for the car), got to work. Going well so far! (Gotta start with baby steps.)

Don’t you just love it when you get a new plan and everything has changed around completely? I guess the first time was just for practice. (Or maybe they were practicing how to make us frustrated.)

Hey look, it’s already almost time for lunch! Not that you necessarily care, but I thought I would share anyway. (And who says the internet is useless?)

What goes up must come down. Just hopefully not on your head. (Sorry, I was having a thoughtful moment.)

And the award for Most Interesting Person of the Day goes to … someone else. (Just as long as I’m not the Least Interesting Person of the Day.)

What’s the opposite of fast? Thursday afternoon. (Or the day before a vacation. Not that I have one soon.)

Aw, man! I forgot to go to the grocery store to buy bread. Now we’re going to get snowed in with nothing to eat! (Oh wait, we had bread already.)

I have big weekend plans of doing absolutely nothing. I wonder how that will work out. (As it turns out, I did do something. Several somethings, actually.)

Snow? No snow? One thing is for certain, and that is that nothing is for certain. Certainly! (I think I’m certain about that. Maybe.)

Our front porch sure does look different without a bunch of lights and a glowing tree. (Maybe we need some sort of year-round light-up tree outside.)
