Burnsland Coloring Page: Rapunzel's Tower
Fun at Home
]
Are you running out of things to do during your time at home? Is a summer of little or no traveling getting you down? Do your kids need something to occupy their time? Then here is a fun coloring page! Download the PDF version and print it out at home.
I was thinking about what I could share here, and I came up with the idea of some coloring pages based on some of the photos I have shared here at the site. So what better way to start than with the most popular Burnsland photo ever (thanks, Pinterest!), Rapunzel’s Tower in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.
If you are wondering, I just took the photo and converted it to what looks like a line drawing. That took a little manipulation in Photoshop. That was fun for me, almost as much fun as coloring it might be.
Feel free to refer to the original photo as your color guide, or just do your own thing using whatever colors you want. And if you or your children do color this coloring page, I would love to see the results, so please take a photo and send it my way!
And watch for another coloring page coming soon!
What Makes It Popular?
Interestingly, the original photo has been repinned over 2,000 times on Pinterest. I am not sure if it is popular because of the subject matter or because of the wonderful evening colors, but I am happy that so many people have enjoyed it.
I have often mentioned before that I am not always a good judge of which photos I share will be popular and which ones will not. So it is fun to just put things out there and see how they are received. I have my personal favorites, and they are often not the ones that end up being popular. But I don’t dislike any of the popular photos, just in case you are wondering.
If you have a favorite photo from the Burnsland site, I would love to hear about it. And I am open to suggestions on future coloring pages, too. Communication is great, so I would love to hear from you.
Bible Verse
Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God. - James 1:19-20
