Beach Colors / Burnsland List of Relevance

Beach Colors

The beach is such a colorful place. Actually, that isn’t necessarily true. You have the light brown sand, the brownish-bluish-greenish water, and the blue sky when it isn’t cloudy. But the things that people bring to the beach help to add lots of color to the palette. As seen below.

This isn’t our stuff at the beach, by the way. Someone may be out there thinking, “Hey, that’s a picture of my stuff!” Hope you don’t mind. I wasn’t trying to stalk you or anything.

The Burnsland List of Relevance for 3/27-4/2

Here is this week’s Burnsland List of Relevance. Or, as I like to call it, Wilbur.

  1. April Fool’s Day - Call me an old stick in the mud, but I just don’t get it. Seems like a big waste of time to me. Who is the real fool - the one who is fooled, or the one who fools? Eh, whatever.
  2. Look out! - The sky is falling! April fool! See, I just don’t get it.
  3. Elvira - This morning, I heard the classic song by the Oak Ridge Boys. They just don’t make them like they used to.
  4. March - Does it come in like a lamb and go out like a lion, or is it the other way around? I looked for a lion yesterday, but I never did see one. Or a lamb, either.
  5. April - April showers bring May flowers. What do you know - today is the first day of April, and it looks like rain. How do they do that?
  6. Taxes - Another highlight of April. Or maybe it isn’t a highlight for you.
  7. Hamburgers - I just realized I have gone all week without eating a hamburger. I think I’m going in to withdrawal. But I have had pizza more than once this week, so that makes up for it, right?
  8. Booger - Remember when Dr. Johnny Fever got fired from his previous radio job for saying “booger” on the air? Those were the days.
