On the Beach at Castaway Cay

Families enjoy the Family Beach at Castaway Cay, the private island of the Disney Cruise Line. The pier thing out in the water looked interesting, but we never did make it onto that. I am guessing that you just climb up on it and jump off into the water, but we never did. Instead, we moved on down the beach away from here, mainly because there were a few more beach chairs available at that area.

If I were all into the Thanksgiving posts as some are (and I am not judging, because it is good to be thankful to God for all He has given us), I would probably list beaches as one of my top spots.

As you may know, we don’t live close to the beach, so a beach isn’t something that we get to enjoy all the time. I’m sure those that live close to the beach probably actually get tired of it all, but I never do. And those that live near the beach probably also get tired of all of us who come there for vacation, invading their home territory. But that’s what happens when you live near the beach, I guess.

For us, the beach is a magical place, a place to get away from all the pressures and responsibilities of home and just enjoy floating around in the water for a while. And although being trusted with responsibilities isn’t a bad thing, it is good to just get away from all of that for a while. So that is what the beach means to us. And I am definitely thankful for those times away, especially when I am in good company, such as my family. Who would definitely be at the top of my thankful list.
