Back from Bangkok
If you follow me on Instagram or other social media places, you may have seen photos that seemed to indicate that I was in Bangkok last week. Believe it or not, those photos were not fake and were in fact real!
But this was not a casual sight-seeing trip. Instead, Adam (at the left of the above photo) and I (at the right) went to visit Gary and Michelle Ford, missionaries in Bangkok that our church supports. That is Gary and Michelle in the middle of the photo, if you didn’t know. And this was taken in their apartment on our last night there. Adam and I were there to visit with them, encourage them, and see some of the great work that they are doing in the city there. And we did get to see a good bit of the city as well. However, I would guess that what we saw was actually only a small part of the city, because Bangkok is huge!
As you might imagine, I took lots and lots of photos, and a good bit of video, too, so you can expect to see some of that and read some of the stories here in the coming weeks and months. It was a good trip, we had a good visit, and now we have lots to share!
And if you are really curious in a technological sort of way, you may notice that I am holding my phone in my hands, because I was using it as a remote for my camera. Much better than pressing the timer button and then running across the room!
