At the Beach / Burnsland List of Relevance
At the Beach
Have you planned your summer beach vacation yet? Me, either. Who knows what the summer has in store?
Still, it’s fun to think about going to the beach. And it’s always interesting to see the different patterns that the waves make, such as in the photo below from Cocoa Beach. I could stand there and watch that for quite a while.

The Burnsland List of Relevance for 2/20-2/26
Here is this week’s Burnsland List of Relevance. Seems pretty random, doesn’t it? What can I say – I’m a random kind of guy. At least at random times.
-
Rain - We had quite a bit come through here last night. But at least it wasn’t snow. Sorry, all those of you who live up north and are getting a lot of snow today.
-
February - The shortest month of the year always seems to go by the quickest. Coincidence? Probably not.
-
March - Good thing about March: Spring. Bad thing about March: Spring allergies.
-
Gas prices - They are going up faster than the Space Shuttle Discovery did yesterday. The only difference - the Shuttle will come back down.
-
Skunks - They say that skunks are out the most in February. My nose agrees. Hopefully the skunks will notice the calendar page turning next week.
-
February (again) - Poor month of February, whose name so often gets mispronounced as Feb-u-wary. Maybe we should get Congress to pass a law changing the R and the U so that it will be spelled like everyone says it.
-
Chocolate - It isn’t just for Valentine’s Day any more. I’m just saying.
-
Bahrain - In the news stories about the protests in Bahrain, they often point out that the capital city is Manama. Which always makes me think of this song.
