Ahoy, Mates! I'm On a Boat!

On a boat

Or at least I was over the weekend. No, we didn’t go out and buy a boat. And no, we didn’t give up the ranch life for the lake life. Although that would definitely be nice.

But we did get to spend a nice long weekend at Paris Landing on Kentucky Lake with our friends the Streets, along with my parents and our friends the Garretts. And several others were there, too, including other church friends who have places in the area, along with friends of friends that we got to meet and become friends with as well.

And in between rain showers, we got to spend some time out on the lake, too. I even got to drive the boat once. As did Laura. Just one of the many fun things that we did. We will have more to share from that fun weekend later on, so watch for that, too.

We are quite thankful for our friends and their generosity and hospitality!
