Ah, the Beach / Burnsland List of Relevance
Ah, the Beach
While looking back through some unpublished pictures, I saw that this picture was taken one year ago today, July 22, 2010. Has it really been a year since our trip to Cocoa Beach?
This view was from the early morning hours before the crowds arrived at the beach. And the tire tracks were from the lifeguards’ vehicles, not us. We weren’t out driving on the beach. Although I know there are some beaches where that is allowed.
Maybe I should run off and become a beach bum. I think I could handle the beach part much better than the bum part of that. Oh well.

The Burnsland List of Relevance for 7/17-7/23
The Burnsland List of Relevance feels the need for a brain massage. Is that even really something? I mean a Burnsland List of Relevance brain? Now I’ve seen it all.
- Space Shuttles - It’s the end of an era. Sad to see it go. And I wish the next era would hurry up and start. I’m already tired of waiting.
- Summer Television - There’s not much to say, because there’s not much there. Besides Burn Notice.
- Anniversaries - Our 18th wedding anniversary was this past Sunday. I’m still pretty proud of that.
- Molecules - Like it or not, we all have them. I don’t know why that is important, but it just is.
- Google+ - Um, I’m still trying to figure that one out. I’ll get back to you later.
- Washing Machine - Why do we call it a “washing machine” but we don’t call its companion a “drying machine”? They are both machines, after all. Does that bother anyone else? I didn’t think so.
- Refrigerator - And while we are at it, we should probably call it a “refrigeration machine”. Or not.
- Cell phones - Did you know that most cell phones can actually make phone calls, too? Who knew?
