A Cloudy Day at Cocoa Beach, Florida
Clouds fill the sky as people enjoy the sand and the ocean at Cocoa Beach, Florida, as a lifeguard watches over everything.
I like this postcard view of Cocoa Beach. Not that we are there now, unfortunately, but it is a postcard view from when we were there this summer. I haven’t posted as many beach photos lately as I usually do, but it doesn’t mean that I miss the beach any less. And if someone wants to make it into an actual postcard, feel free to contact me! Everything is for sale here, after all!
In this view, some people are enjoying sitting in the sand, while others are out enjoying the water. Hopefully, they are being safe, because you can see the yellow flag flying from the lifeguard chair, indicating that the rip currents may be strong at times. And also, the lifeguard has the umbrella folded up instead of open. That might be just because of all the clouds, but from how the yellow flag is flying, it could also be because of the wind, and you know how much fun umbrellas can be in the wind.
Okay, beach joke time: Why are there fish at the bottom of the ocean? Because they dropped out of school! I’m here all week! Thanks for coming by!

About the photo:
After processing, this photo doesn’t look quite as cloudy as it actually was, thanks to some changes in color temperature and saturation/vibrance. But it actually was quite cloudy. Really.
