A Bus Stop at the Polynesian Village Resort
We were waiting for a bus to take us from the Polynesian Village Resort to Downtown Disney one evening at Walt Disney World, and I decided to take this photo. I liked the small detail of the ceiling fan whirring overhead. It was a warm evening out, and that fan wasn’t doing a whole lot of good, but it does add something interesting to the photo.
Yes, I did just post a Polynesian Village Resort photo not long ago at all, and I didn’t intend to post another one so soon. But I was testing out some processing and looking for an evening photo to test my methods on, and I found this one. And I was pleasantly surprised by how well this one turned out, so I am sharing it now. Because I am never good at waiting a while to post something. Once I have something that I like, I want to post it immediately.
And like that other Polynesian photo, this one isn’t necessarily one of those “iconic” views, but it does remind me very well of sitting out there at the bus stop. And it doesn’t even make me think of how it sometimes seems like the bus that we are waiting for is never going to come. Except that now that I said that, I do think about it. Why do the buses take so long sometimes? Oh wait, I wasn’t going to think about that. Gotta stay focused here.
So if you do have to wait for a bus, this isn’t a bad place to have to wait.
